CloudBacko Go encrypts all backup data (contents and filename) using strong AES 256-bit encryption algorithm along with a randomly generated encryption key, before it is transferred over the internet or network to the backup destination(s). The backup data remains encrypted when it is stored on the backup destination, so even if hackers were able to steal the backup data, they will not be able to read the contents.
